What is the difference ?
In calling a lie a lie and in calling something which is not a lie a lie? I just heard a radio talk host on KOA mention that Barack Obama, in his speech, was calling everyone a "liar" about the "death panels" etc, but then everyone gets all angry because a Congressman calls the President a "liar". They see no difference. It's all part of their political "game". There should be no distinction between truth and lies.

1. First of all, the Congressional etiquette is to not interrupt a presidential joint-session speech.
Then there is calling lies what they are, as the President did; that differs from stating a specific person is lying.

Then there is the distinction between lies and truth, between calling someone out for lying versus claiming that someone is lying when they're telling the truth.
