I know Poe's Law means you can't tell a real religion from a fake one.
Or something like that.

What's the equivalent "law" for not being able to tell real U.S. government from the lies?

5. Actually that's not quite right
Poe's law is that you cant' easily tell a satire of an extremist position from an extremist position said in al seriousness.

Generally it's applied to religion. But it can be applied to any extremist position.

It has nothing to do with whether a set of religious beliefs are fake or not.
