So Obama speaking to school children was "dangerous"

Just passed by FOX "News" when they were interviewing somone about a new curriculum for our school children about 9/11. I don't know who the person was or what group he represented but this is something that needs some review in my opinion. The curriculum is supposed to cover the events of 9/11 but I wonder whether or not it will be covered in context and explain everything that led up to Bin Laden's atrocities including our presense in Islamic lands and what is regarded as Islamic holy sites? Will it cover our role is building up Bin Laden during the Russian invasion and occupation of Afghanistan? Will it cover the real aftermath of 9/11 and what has happened to our nation since, including our invasion and occupation of Iraq? Or will this be just another brainwashing tool by the RW much like the history of the settlement of this nation and what happened to the Native Americans living here through the years? I want our children to learn about the history of this nation..all the good...and all the bad. I don't want a one-sided, biased portrayal because I want our children to be really good citizens of the country and the world. I'm just venting here, but because this stuff was presented by FOX "News" I am really concerned. If anyone know about this curriculum or where to find out about it please post a link. That is all.
