most laughable talking point for voting Republican...
"Republicans are good for small towns and businesses for small towns."

Yep. Someone actually told me that! The person gave me no examples on what Republicans have done. But that's their story and their sticking to it.

1. By "small towns" they mean "white people"
and by "are good for" they really mean "can easily exploit the fears and prejudices of"

4. The Republicans have been terrible for white people.
By outsourcing our industries, blue collar white people and white collar white people have all been thrown out of work in favor of various shades of brown non-union non-American people.

When factories close, small towns dry up and die, and all the small businesses dependent on those larger ones and the employment they provide go belly up.

By encouraging outsourcing, the Republicans have DESTROYED "small town" America.

2. It falls into the con voter belief system so any facts you bring to them will be promptly ignored
unless its the ones they want to hear. I hear cons all the time bragging how great my city is doing, never mind the fact that 3 foundries and 7 factories were closed by GM since the 80's. They believe that because we have 2 wally worlds things are booming and the inner city is falling apart because of welfare. Never mind that the fact is many of those inner city dwellers were once employed by the closed GM plants, they know those former workers could get a job at wally world instead of going on welfare. The stupid runs deep, they also believe that the GM plants were closed because of the EPA.

6. If you're horribly racist and there's no local KKK meeting
the Republican Party will do.
