The only thing that these asshats care about is money. He just got some from me. You will not dis the commander in chief at a joint session and walk away. We need to make him an example. five million by next year would do it. If he was still in uniform he would be court marshalled and jailed. Maybe we cab stop his reserve pension. I know he sure pissed Rahm off. See how much he gets for his district now.
Earmarks can cut two ways. I'm off to hear y President speak in good old Minneapolis.

they show where obama is not lying, brings question in that he lies adn does not even read what they are pointing out. my mouth dropped open as they ended the story.

47. Like they said on Bill Maher last night
There is no more journalism. They are passing off inaccurate, ratings driven bullshit for news. The head of IWVA, the guy who is frequently on Rachel was saying that there is never any expertise sought on these shows. They get "political analysts" to come on who are basically consultants with little experience on the issue. Richard Clarke said that "news agencies used to tell us what happened during the day and now they tell us who won".

I remember when news was not specifically for profit and was set up for the public good.

BBC often reports things that aren't on our networks. I still watch KO, Rachel, and occasionally Ed to get some more liberal analysis of news events. Other than that I pretty much scour the internet for information too.

rather quickly though. Lots of money in parts of his district and lots of special interest money lining his pockets. As for the more recent comments, I can't help you there, and agree that avoiding reality hits both sides of the aisle at times.

At least this go 'round, perhaps Miller will have a bit more of a fair shot because of the money we've helped him raise. ;)

that's given these violent republican misogynists their place *in* the news. While CNN may not be Fox, they do intend to be part of creating derision they will then 'report' themselves. Unless any news is able to cut through CNN's Ad matrix, as indisputable news is able to do; CNN's smack-down format is all about turning truth upside-down/inside-out

...somewhere I saw also a headline that said something to effect that the "you lie" incident spurred more than a million in donations. That made me feel good (figuring it was all for Wilson's opponent, Miller) until I went to the article discovered they were combining the two campaigns, implying that Wilson was getting as much as Miller was. I wish I could recall whose site that was, but went to another site too quickly.
