This country has a business. That business is violence. Violence is the industrial base. Take away the manufacturing of the machines of death and America is finished. Violence is glorified. Violence is god. America must export death. It must also export mistrust, racism, paranoia, and greed. Without war, America has no raison d'etre.
Decent and affordable health care for all is anti-violence. Will America accept decency?

As I read that...
Something started gelling in my feeble old brain about selling health care for all to the right wing as crucial to ensure maximum military and economic strength...
