1. I just did an Expedia search......Looks like there's plenty of availability Sat nite.
Looks like the Million Moron March will be a bust.

2. I'm not sure they're staying in hotels -
maybe tents in church parking lots, or wherever they're stashing the buses. But, paying local hotel rates?

I don't think so........................

8. My point exactly -
the hotel rates here are high, and most people traveling on their own dime can't afford them.

So, hey, yourself. You just backed me up. Thank you.........................

10. I know, and I don't take kindly to be being lumped -
but thanks for the offer - I live here, right across the river, in Alexandria, so my housing needs in the area are very nicely taken care of...................................

13. We're all sometimes too quick
to fall victim to stereotypes, and it never hurts to give someone the benefit of the doubt.

If I need that information for anyone, I'll certainly PM you, and thanks again.............................

6. Check campsites and National Parks nearby
The would be a shame, against "socialism" but staying at publicly funded national parks?

11. They have no idea what "socialism" means,
nor could they coherently and accurately define "Fascism," "communism," "Nazism," or any of the various political labels they like to throw around.

That's what's so tragic and so funny.

And each of their votes counts the same as ours, which makes me want to bang my head against a brick wall until the screaming stops..............................

14. Total number of people from Oakland county Michigan, less than 150 nutbags
Some nutter from my area Oakland County Michigan, the largest and richest republican stronghold in Michigan- said they have rented 3 buses holding 56 passengers each. They were advertising seats for 120.00 and said there was still plenty of room. That was Thursday night, so I doubt they left here tonight with them filled.
