Does anyone know if corporate donations to candidates will be capped at $2300? |
|
Assuming the Supreme Court decides the way we all assume it will, of course.
If capped at $2300 as it is with real people, the SC decision probably won't make a huge difference, especially considering that corporations already give through PACs anyway.

1. Would they be allowed to donate $2300 per employee? |

I have no idea what the ruling is going to be, but I hope it isn't anything like that. I doubt/hope it is though.

3. I don't see any basis for that, but with Roberts, Scalia and the rest, |

2. I wondered about that, too. |

Let's just wait and see what the Court says - just because the questioning sounded as though the Justices were trending one way does not mean that is how the decision will come down. But if they uphold the rights of corporations as persons, then corporations should be treated as persons for donations - and for TAXES!
