So what's with this infomercial CNN keeps showing on Joe Wilson?

-The one that trumpets his "passion" over all military issues, but neglects his many votes against military benefits? Including repeated votes to deny National Guard veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan TRICARE benefits?

-The one that mentions his close relationship with Strom Thurmond, but neglects to mention how he blasted Stom Thurmond's biracial daughter for mentioning the "shameful" fact of her existence?

-The one that describes him as a "former immigration attorney", but neglects to mention the fact that no one in SC recalls him ever being involved in an immigration case?

Yesterday CNN caused panic in DC by reporting a terrorist attack on the Potomac after hearing someone say "bang, bang, bang" on a Coast Guard radio scanner. Do they have anyone left at that network who even vaguely remembers what "reporting" is?

And why is CNN showing it?

3. It's their "meet the (glorified) Joe Wilson" infomercial.

It's absolutely stomach turning in its deliberate one-sidedness.

The reporter basically interviewed the guy's friends and family about why he's so great and reported that as the "real" Joe Wilson.

4. And the reporter who mentioned Wilson's opponent had raised "several hundred thousand"

I guess they're going for "fair & balanced"
