Interesting. DeMented trying to make that crowd of crazies "a cross-section of Americans" |
|
Edited on Sat Sep-12-09 12:41 PM by Avalux
According to him, they are people of all walks of life and political parties who believe in the core values of the United States and the Constitution.
He wants average Americans to believe the right wing extremists marching on Washington today represent them. He wants average Americans to believe that the Republican Party, that Republican politicians like himself are the only ones who can save this country.
Oh - he also wants us to believe that a lot of Democrats want to join them but are afraid of being crushed by the "left wing machine".
I don't know whether to puke or laugh...
:puke:

2. The question is how is the media presenting it? As was eloquently pointed out on Bill Maher |
|
last night, the media has been giving fringe groups extra legitimacy, by over covering their position, even though it does not represent the majority

4. Of course the media is giving them the legitimacy they don't deserve. |

Makes it that much harder for rational discourse to prevail. Hysteria gets more ratings.

3. "a cross-section of Americans" |
|
This is another example of liberal bias. The taking of part of a quote, changing the context, and passing it off as fact.
It was supposed to be "..."a cross-section of Americans.. who are stupid fucking idiots."
Let's get this shit right.

7. I think he meant a cross-section of "real" Americans. |
|
According to them you have to pass the "purity" test in order to be a "real" American.
