Why we should continue to push for single payer...

Not just because it the right thing to do,

Not just because this country needs it,

Not just because people are dieing,

Because of August. When people showed up at town hall meeting with guns, when discussions were shouted down, when astroturf was referred to as a 'real' movement, when a popularly elected american president had his photo defiled with a Hitler sash, and the MSM called this a debate.:argh:


This nation needs to relearn how to have a political discussion, and single payer is the best place for that lesson.

However, he didn't campaign on an insurance mandate, either; but he's already broken that promise. Therefore, why not keep pushing him on single-payer?

now I'm not against a strong public option, but I want a real discussion with honest reasons. Not made up BS and astroturf panic.
