What independent voters would be attracted by the sentiments expressed at today's demonstration? |

A year from now will moderate independents really embrace the teabagger mentality and their candidates?
I suppose that there have to be some seats we can still go after. Joe Wilson might still be safe. But I hope there are others in districts where the wingnuts didn't win by a large margin. I'm ready to donate. Perhaps some governor races as well as Congress.
Be damned with the historical trend of a president's party losing seats two years after taking office. The upcoming election cycle is going to be critical to burying this destructive right wing movement.

And fear only works so well. You need to present an alternative to fear that calms the anxiety. They have none. Just a lot of fear.

It's a good place for us to be even if we disagree with some of his policies. He's still our best ambassador in an election season.
