I think AP got the caption for this pic wrong...

Protesters against US President Barack Obama's health care plan and other policies gather in Washington, DC. Obama faced down critics of his health care reform plan on Saturday, with a stark warning that any American could lose their coverage under the current system.

I think the bent one says something like 'Because Nothing says Freedom Like Denying Claims'.

2. This one too...
from freeperville no less.

I wonder if the sign maker or the freeper that took it knows its deeper meaning...

as I was at a "Town hall" with Congresswoman, Dianna Degette.(D,CO-1) and that was the majority of the rooms opinion too. triggers need to be no where near health care like it is with the Drug importation ban. BTW that existing "trigger" is controlled by Pharmaceuticals.
*****************************************
another related funny story... At the Town hall A freeper stood up to ask Degette a question but rather started reading Ronald Reagan's words from way back in the 1960's oposing medicare (you have all heard it)

anyway the croud hissed I shouted "He got paid for that ya know?" the crowd cheeres and aplauded. the woman sneered at me and sat down.
Degette said "that is a minority opinion in this room, and the minority opinion nationally. You know that right? But the minority opinion does need to be recognized".

I must say I have a better Opinion of Degette now.
BTW she is for single payer, against the trigger and for the public option.

After wards I was walking by and told them that "an oligarchy does not a free market make either." they all leered at me. all 7 of them that showed up to a room that was 200 or so. actually mostly for clarification. there were empty seats.

5. This was in Minnesota. So what? If it were in another state with a more racially diverse population,
it would be different. On the other hand, the march on DC was supposedly from all over the country. Big difference, don't you think?
