Send your well wishes and protective vibes to the missing 9 year old and his family:
That's what DU is about...

As someone who has had a child missing before, even though she was found safe & well within 30 minutes, I wouldn't wish that feeling on ANYONE and I find some comments in the other thread about him highly disturbing.

Send your well wishes and/or protective vibes to him and his family, DU.. in hopes that he is/was found safe and well.

Peace,

Ghost

9. It has got to be anyone's worst nightmare.
My son was brain injured when he was born and hyper-active and impulsive to the nth degree. He was greatly attracted to flashy bright shiny objects and loud music so I took him to the fair when he was 3. He was elated to say the least.

I held his hand tight the entire time except for one moment when I went to pay a vendor for some food. In that moment he disappeared. I was absolutely terrified as I searched in a panic everywhere. I found him nearly at the other end of the fair on a merry-go-round ride sitting in one of the cars with the biggest grin on his face. I went from completely hysterical to elation in a matter of a split second. I took pictures and waited for the ride to stop at which point I jumped on it as quick as I could before he got away again and gave him the biggest hug. He smile and said, "I ride in the car Mommy."

I hope this boy and his family have the same happy ending.
