Reader comment from the CBC (Canada) website re: health reform and today's Moron March
"Unfortunately, the mindset of so many of our friends and neighbours to the south, especially those who haven't ventured out of their country (let alone off the continent), is that no other country could possibly do something better than them. This just makes it difficult for them to progress and points to the insecurity and fear that now permeate the country, fed by the neurotic ignoramuses who litter the cheapened airwaves.

I wish them well - they will do what they will do, for their better or for their worse. It does seem, though, that the bulk of the loud, rude and uncivil ones tend to be "agin" just about any change at all, whether they understand why or not. Herd mentality which comes from indoctrinated patriotism since early childhood.."

--------

Health care is a 'commodity' in the US - not a privilege.

That's the crux of their problem.

In more civilized societies, health care is a basic human right - and that's the way it should be!
