Moore premiere on major anniversarySky News Michael Moore's new film 'Capitalism: A Love Story,' is premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival on the anniversary of the collapse of Lehman Brothers.
The feisty film-maker said the date was no accident.
'No, not a coincidence at all. It was all planned out.'
'I think it was quite a wake up call. Most Americans and Canadians now know that these large corporations, the upper 10 percent in the country, they own most of what's going on, they control most of what's going on and you and I have very little say in this economy. We say that we believe in democracy but where's the democracy?
'Where's the say that you and I have in this. It's not a real democracy until the economy is also democratic. I think out of this will come something very good.'
Moore's film will premiere on Sunday, September 13th. The film maker will hold a news conference on the 15th, the anniversary date of Lehman's bankruptcy filing.
