I you don't believe nepotism and cronyism exists then how do you explain this guy being paid for the waste of ink (electrons) that it takes to convey his drab observations.

The piece is obviously titled more to catch a reader's eye than to state the substance of the OP-ED.

NYT, this IS the reason you are losing readers. You insist on giving status-quo shills a platform and the money to stay on message. It seems the world has shifted and that is not a winning business model. Wanna try an experiment..put KO on the page and watch what happens. The "Gray Lady" is timid in her old age.
