There are definitely some Republicans out there who have talked about how the radical right is negatively influencing their party. But none of them are in any position to change others beliefs within their party. No powerful republican will ever listen to anything someone like Ron Paul has to say. The reason they are not willing to alienate that group is because they are all the republican party has left. If they distance themselves from the wackos, there will be no more republican party. Any civil, decent, conservative left the republican party long ago.
