Glenn Beck's Family
I can not help wonder about Mr.Beck's family. I know he has a wife and kids, but wonder if they somehow have to pay for his conduct.I've thought this before about Bill O'Reilly's family. Do you think they are just as bad and cheer them on or do you feel they are caught between a rock and a hard place? It's something I think about and feel bad for Beck's family and how they must suffer for his actions.

4. OH CRAP!
He lives in my state? Ugh! I saw a video the other day with him almost sobbing about his family. Did not catch all of it but I thought it had to do with them being harassed. My take is, Glen do not blame anyone but yourself. Then I remembered, he is a Republican and they NEVER take the blame for anything.

15. That's his second family, of course

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_Beck#Personal_life

Beck is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict.<7> He also has a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. <8> He and his first wife divorced amid his struggle with substance abuse. Beck cites the help of Alcoholics Anonymous in his sobriety, and he eventually converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,<9> which teaches against the consumption of alcohol.

By his first marriage, Beck has two teenage daughters, Hannah and Mary. With his second wife, Tania, he has two children, Raphe and Cheyenne.

I'd love to know what those daughters from the first marriage think of him.

19. faceless Illuminati assassins
"Beck applied for a permit to build a six-foot wall around his New Canaan, Conn., home last year, citing security concerns and claiming that he had been "besieged by angry audiences." Most homes in New Canaan are limited to four-foot fences.

But illegal Mexicans and faceless Illuminati assassins can easily hop four-foot barriers, so Beck asked the town for permission last year to completely encircle his home in a 6-foot wall, and he actually brought a security guard with him to the town meeting where his application was being considered because they are everywhere. Beck had begun construction of the wall prior to receiving permission from the town, a big no-no."

3. You have sympathy for "F-it, We'll Do It Live O'Reilly?
You really meant to post a :sarcasm: thingy, did't you? Did you not see posted on here the transcript of O'Reilly'ssexual harrassment hearing? OMG - I don't know why he didn't lose his job, and I don't know how he faces a camera every day. Sure, we all make mistakes every day, but when it comes from a holier-than-thou-family-values-right-wing-nutjob, I have no sympathy.

Which by the way reminds me of this video clip of him:

10. Saw a Beck show last year, where he said he divorced his first wife
because his drinking was out of control. I think there may have been other substance abuse problems besides the drinking, but I heard him mention just the alcoholism. For awhile, first ex wife wouldn't let him near his kids due to his behavior, per him. Didn't say he blamed her a bit for that, said he was a mess.

Don't know how old he is. Just wish he would go away.

8. since I cant get to Gawker without my computer hanging...
I wonder if his children (if they disagree either with his feelings or the psychotic way he expresses them) feel continual embarrassment at how insane and infantile he behaves. The normal world heaps ridicule on him deservedly, and (not knowing how old the kids are) if they're young, they must feel so helpless at the hand of this nutcase who they also have to love and depend on.

It's like Stockholm Syndrome, they have to identify with a madman in order to survive in his house. Children don't have a choice. I doubt there's much psychological stability in the household because of him, and that's very hard, no matter how grand the home.

9. He's divorced, on second marriage
he has two girls from previous marriage, the younger one has some disabilities. I think he and his second wife adopted a baby boy some years back. He and his second wife are Mormons. The older girl I think had some issues with him. His first marriage tanked d/t his alcoholism if I remember correctly. He incorrectly states that he used to be a raging asshole, I believe he still is a raging asshole, only a sober sanctimonious one.

12. SO
He has kids from a previous marriage. Makes sense now. Thought maybe he strayed or cheated. I'm asking a lot of questions because I think it's important for us to know as much as we can. I wonder if anyone has tried to reach out to his ex wife or his older kids for dirt (or maybe Glen has paid them all off to keep their mouths shut) Damn,I bet they got some dirt on Glen. Remember Neil Bush's ex who was planning on a tell all book before someone got to her? Would love to have Glenn's ex wife and kids on some night with Keith Olberman. You think Glen freaked out on the phone to a caller in on his show was bad. This would possibly push Glen over the edge!

To his family, friends etc. Not just him, Rush, Insannity etc. Do these people EVER do anything positive, constructive for anybody?
