5. His falling numbers can not be contributed to losing Republicans. He's losing the Left. |
|
Obama's approval ratings came from some independents, moderate Democrats and uber-leftists.
So his "falling numbers" come from that mix.
Who is he losing?

10. The polls do show that. I agree. |
|
But the war in Afghanistan, the Goldman-Sach White House, the corporate-friendly cabinet heads, the watered-down health-care fiasco is really turning off the left who worked for him.
Even the wicked Karl Rove knew that you don't alienate your base.
I think he's losing independents because he just looks weak and indecisive.
Let's face it: the entire healthcare issue has been a disaster for the White House.

6. JMO--- but he should have foreseen the repuke attacks. |

He should have been way out in front of that and never let them grab the spotlight in August. It's like when they swift-boated Kerry and he didn't respond quickly or forcefully enough. It never pays to take the high road.
Bad month for him and the country!

He was voted in on the promise of change.
What is changing?
Protracted foreign wars? Check. And escalated. Torture covered up? Check. And not prosecuted. Elimination of habeas corpus? Check. Putting the needs of corporations above society? Check. Bowing to the superstitious ideas of the minority? Check.
Tell me you are going to bring CHANGE, and, silly me, I expect CHANGE more significant than freakin china pattern.

18. F exacerbated by A and B. |
|
The Obama team during the primaries and general election managed to keep it together and stay on top of the various lies and smears.
The Obama Administration however, isn't doing as good a job. That's partly because the noise has been turned up and the MSM isn't helping (then again they weren't really helping in the GE). If the President and his team were to stay on the offensive rather than sit back and let things get out of hand, he'd probably be doing better in the polls.
