REVERE
Democratic Underground infiltrates Tab’s poll -- Up until last Wednesday, the Poll that we posted for the Revere elections was doing just fine. Well, almost the entire poll that is.
About a week and a half ago I noticed something was wrong with the Ward 4 statistics and sure enough, I learned that Louis Ciarlone, Business Manager and President of Local 110 at Suffolk Downs had asked his members to vote for Stephen Reardon, a candidate in Ward 4.
When asked, Ciarlone told the Tab that he had asked the members of his union to “sign on to the Tab and vote for Reardon in the Ward 4 poll. And of course, union members being as loyal as they are did sign on and vote…and of course, some of those folks don’t live in Ward 4, in fact, some don’t even live in Revere.
Apparently once the word got out, another group of passionate people, The Democratic Underground also got hold of the information that the Tab was running a poll and they “passively hacked” the polls voting for everyone they were instructed to vote for. The instruction came via the Underground’s message board and once again Louis Ciarlone.
On Wednesday August 19 at 6:17 pm a post was left on the DU’s message board signed by Louis C. That message stated:
“As a long time DU contributor I rarely ask a favor. And I wouldn't now, if it wasn't important to me.
The AFL-CIO has endorsed a candidate in my home town. This is the ward I live in and the union guy is opposed by a conservative Republican and a realtor, (not that there's anything wrong with realtors).
I would appreciate some DU input. Scroll down to Ward 4 and punch the ticket for Steve Reardon.
Thank you,
Louis C.
Along with that message was this Link,

On Thursday, August 20th, the polls went over the top for specific candidates. The benefactors of Ciarlone’s request were: Stephen Reardon, Tony Zambuto, Richard Penta and others.
