Report: Media barred from Palin Hong Kong speech
By Jordan Fabian - 09/14/09 09:36 AM ET

Media will not be permitted to cover former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's (R) first keynote speaking engagement outside of North America, said organizers of the Hong Kong event on Monday.

Palin will speak before the CLSA Investors Forum, a gathering of CEOs, investors, and other financial players, on September 23. CLSA, which is sponsoring the event, is one of Asia's leading brokerage firms.

The rest of the forum will be open to the media, but Palin's address will be closed, one of the event's organizers told AFP.

"Some of our keynote sessions in previous years were also closed to the media. So this is not the first time," a spokeswoman who requested anonymity told AFP.

"Ms Palin has not yet confirmed with us the topic of her speech," she added.

1. Taking bets on how soon before she bails & it's claimed she "never committed" to going
Like all those fundraising dinners we keep hearing she is going to, only to find out "she's not and never was."

I say 48 hours from now.

8. Do you suppose she already tried to back out?
It would explain the "closed to media" decision, wouldn't it?

I think we'll probably receive an accounting of her remarks, at any rate. That is, assuming she actually shows up.

3. What kind of rambling nonsense would she say?

I suppose she can see the Hong Kong skyscrapers from her house?

4. Good. The less we hear from that lying piece of shit, the better.
Why anyone would pay this nit wit woman to speak is beyond me. She's a documented liar. She's also obviously an idiot from some of the things she's said lately. And she has the same hairdo as Mary Ann of Gilligan's Island...from the sixties.

Palin is past her prime. No media exposure sounds good to me.

was recorded by someone listening, and he got a raft of shit about the "clinging to guns and religion" deal.

If it can happen to him, it WILL happen to Palin, people are probably ready with their devices and even backup devices just to be sure, lol. She does win the award for most clueless on the planet.

The whole closed to the media deal does suggest she is about to back out.
