Senate Dems launch Twitter 'War Room'

The Senate Democratic caucus launched their own Twitter feed on Monday during a time when the body is considering several hotly debated legislative items.

The feed is called @DemWarRoom and its bio says it will provide,"reactions from staff in the Senate Democratic Communications Center's War Room."

The Senate is likely to take up healthcare reform legislation by year's end. Additionally, financial regulatory reform and cap-and-trade legislation await action from lawmakers.

@DemWarRoom currently has 264 followers. Its first tweets on Monday both hit at Republicans:
