I took my girlfriend to the doctor this afternoon. She didn't have an appointment. Nevertheless, we saw a doctor within 15 minutes of walking in the door (and it was not an emergency).
That is all.

... since she didn't have an appointment, she could possibly have waited 30 to 45 minutes... if it had been really busy. However, there are quite a lot of these clinics (with 2-4 doctors per clinic) in our downtown area, so if one is a little too busy (and you don't mind seeing different doctor), you can just try another one.
