Neighbor Says He Saw Woman Parking BMW On Street

SACRAMENTO, Calif. --

A disgraced Republican assemblyman who resigned last week amid a sex scandal owns a home in Sacramento's Natomas neighborhood, where neighbors saw a "pretty" younger blond woman.

Sempra Energy launched an internal investigation after Duvall bragged about having sex with a female lobbyist who works for the San Diego-based energy services company.

Duvall's Natomas neighbor said he remembers seeing the former lawmaker at the house, and that he also recalls seeing a younger, blond woman about six times who parked her BMW on the street.

"The only thing I could say is she was pretty," said the neighbor, who lives two doors down from Duvall's home.

KCRA 3 showed the neighbor a picture of a woman who some media have identified as a lobbyist with whom Duvall had an affair. Her picture was found on the California Secretary of State's Web site.

When asked if she was the woman he saw in the neighborhood, the neighbor said, "I would say, pretty much."
