This Modern World: Healthcare Through The Ages - Bleeding With Leeches...
Edited on Mon Sep-14-09 09:05 PM by Hissyspit
Once upon a time, physicians figured out they could charge more to bleed their patients with leeches ...

Tom Tomorrow reruns a 'toon from July 2001 he says 'due to renewed timelines.'

6. I like how he has broken free from the four-panel restriction. He's a lot more
innovative with his compositions.

8. An eight year old cartoon
And the Party of No has the gall to talk about the "rush" to reform health care. Yeah, this is one of those rare "rush" jobs that takes seven or eight decades. But meddling in the Schiavo affair, shit, the Republicans can't act fast enough! They even called Commander Bunnypants home early from one of his interminable vacations just to sign the legislation.

Thankfully, the snoozing bulldogs of our Fourth Estate have no memory of anything, so they dutifully report Republican talking points about a "rush" to reform health care with absolutely no trace of irony or cynicism.
