Malkin and the RW Echo Chamber - Maybe the phony pic was used to match the phony "2 million" number
Media Matters has the entire scoop...

Michelle Malkin says ("tweets," actually) that ABC says that the teabagger crowd is 2 million people. (Off by only 1,930,000 people.)

Naturally, the rw media -- even Roger freakin' Simon -- echoed the lie repeatedly despite ABC's assertions that it never said there were 2 million people there.

Just another in the long string of lies the terrified teabaggers will cling to as truth, no matter what.

2. The Nice Thing About Inflated Teabagger Numbers Is
The nice thing about inflated teabagger numbers is that the harder the good guys work, the more we organize and canvass, the greater the humiliation we can deal to the Radical Right, the Radical Right's touts, shills, and propagandists, and to the stupid, credulous seat-cushions of the corporate media as well.

3. They're not helping their own cause
if they cannot tell the most basic truth.

Who really wants to be associated with an outfit built on a bedrock of lies?
The republican ignoramus?

4. Remember Goebbels's saying...
..."A lie repeated often enough becomes the truth." By now, that two-million figure has become an accepted "fact," just like the "fact" that Obama "lied" to Congress about giving illegal immigrants health care. :eyes:

6. Bush or Goebbels ?
Not exactly great examples of outstanding success.
They both rose to power with a heck of a lot of dishonesty
but both eventually crumbled...not accomplishing anything
positive or lasting.

Republican lies repeated often enough will indeed whip the 30%ers into a frenzy
but their lies are empty calories. Eventually the great angry bubble will collapse
on the weight of its own bullshit. In the meantime, have fun with it.
There's nothing more satisfying than messing with the heads of the narrowminded.
