1. If you reject the science that lead to Darwin's conclusions... |
If you reject the science that lead to Darwin's conclusions, don't you also reject the science that is largely responsible for our understanding of diseases and modern medicine in general?

2. They have an excuse of an answer that agrees with evolution |
IIRC, they call it "micro" evolution. They reject "macro" evolution in favor of the Bible's Genesis version of creation.

7. Of course, they don't understand that everything is interrelated, and you |
cannot have 'micro' without having 'macro'. Just as you cannot have macro without micro.
It is as if they believe there is no interrelatedness. No cause and effect. No action and reaction. Everything exists only in and of itself.
A very sad philosophy.

8. Yes, because they are bat-shit crazy. |
There is absolutely zero real science to back up micro-evolution. It is a lot of hot air intended to undermine evolution in order to slip God into the science classroom. It's bat-shit crazy and dangerous as hell.

3. republicans are anti-science. They don't have to be provoked. |
The small percentage of greedy, wealthy repubs keep their low info minions as stupid as possible. It's how they control them. Feeding them moronic ideas. Only 8% of scientists self identify as republicans. They must be the bottom of the barrel.

5. I've known a few repub scientists |
They can be very good in their fields, but seem to be very myopic when it comes to anything outside of their specialty. They tend to be more libertarian than the usual rabblerousers. None of them, however, believes in a 6000 year old earth or dinos with Jebus.

11. A lot of them seem to think religion solves everything |
and will defend the rights of parents to deny their children- whom don't have a say in the matter- life-saving treatments to curable/treatable medical conditions in the name of "freedom of religion"
