Priorities

Stephanopulos: So what's the problem with the public health option?

Landrieu: Well, many of us believe, George, that it will undermine the private insurance system.

1. Landrieu' statement translated...
Many of us believe the lobby money will be reduced if we don't help them boost profits.

2. Exactly, we can not undermine the insurance companies - -
They are so damn rich and they pay me well when I need campaign dollars, and I love how important those lobbyist make me feel when they are "explaining why public option is evil"....... (SARCASM)

She was such a big help in New Orleans when they were drowning, right?

She is more repub than Dem, no brainer there......

What the hell has the insurance companies ever done for the people other than spending many man hours trying to figure out how to deny coverage? When will the people get it? Never until They need it and are denied. How naive are people? Frighteningly Many.

But Baucus is my number one suck up, mostly because he appears truly stupid. He has a problem completing a sentence when interviewed. So, why is he in such a powerful position?

Ugh, Stupidity is surrounding us. How does Obama cut through the muck?

3. Well, at least she's honest.
Of course, "undermining the private insurance system" is exactly what those of us on the left want to do. Obviously, the President and many other Democrats want to preserve it, instead.

I find that irritating, to say the least.

4. .. it will undermine an industry completely harmful to the people of the US.

Imagine that the people could keep these dollars for themselves instead of rich people trickling those dollars down upon them -- after taking their fair share for having been so incredibly much more luckier than they -- why the result would be a wealthy middle class: CHAOS!
