Let's Just End the Myth For the C-SPAN Callers: Wilson Did NOT Apologize and It was Not an Outburst
Wilson voted for health care for illegal immigrants under Bush as covered by Rich Sanchez on CNN. What was Wilson upset about then? That's right, he wasn't upset. He was making a stunt to show disrespect for the President on the House Floor. And while Wilson MAY have apologized to Obama, he did not apologize to the House for breaking the House Rules. He was given an opportunity to do so and he defiantly refused. Therefore, he is reprimanded. He should be thankful, it could have been worse. He could have been censured for that violation of the rules.

1. I just heard a few of them
Talk about clueless! This isn't about the health care debate -- it is about whether he crossed the line of the rules of decorum. Not a single redneck warbling on the phone addressed that. Not one.

2. I had to turn it off.
Props to CSPAN, though, for putting up with the STOOPID. Christ knows I can't anymore.

3. As he should have been
Repubs over and over said he apologized to the president and Obama accepted.

Great, but that's not what this is about. He violated the rules of decorum of the House!

He should have apologized to the House.

And anyway, the fact that he apologized did not mean he didn't break the rules.

The next time I get pulled over for a traffic violation, I am going to apologize to the cop and when he starts to write the ticket I am going to accuse him of playing petty partisan politics.
