the democrats were highly civil in rebuking mr wilson
The Democratic leadership decided beforehand to keep a tight control on its side of the speeches so as to keep the topic focused solely on Mr. Wilson. Only Representative Clyburn and Mr. Hoyer spoke for the Democrats.

1. I was waiting for Cheney to show up and yell "FUCK YOU!"
Then he would expect to cast the tie breaking vote (yes, I know that's only in the Senate and the vote wasn't even close).

2. And the Reps used the opportunity to get in some more untruths about
covering illegal aliens and the economy. They are like smarmy, snaky, con-artist salespeople. :puke:

3. I thought they were, too. They wanted this done, but didn't rub it in
much. A little bit more would have been fun! :hide:

5. Set up a "Dunk the Douchebag" booth on the Capitol steps.
3 Balls for $5. Proceeds to go towards funding Citizen Healthcare. Step right up! Everyone's a winner!

6. And, yet some Dems didn't even
want that much of a rebuke.

8. Puzzling, yes, and one
that would require some explainations. My bluedog Congressman Arcuri is one of them and I will ask him in an email.

Armed with the reason why I believe a "Yea" vote would have shown some class.
