Just for once, I wish someone would ask these folks
who want to "toss all the bums out of congress" if they are planning to vote for a Democrat in the next election. I'm assuming that many are from "red" states/districts where they are represented by a republican. Maybe several. So, for example, the interview should go:

"Where do you come from?"

A: "Georgia"

Q: :" So, since you want to toss all the members of Congress out, will you be supporting the democratic candidates for Senate next election time out? How about for the House?"

A: (probably get a dirty look on that one...)

1. The incumbency rate for Congress runs at something like 98%...
It is an interesting psychological fact that when people talk about "throwing the bums out" they literally mean throwing all the bums out except their guys who are doin just fine for their local constituents.
