To all Tea Baggers opposed to govenment programs...
... are you also opposed to the FDIC? You know, that big bad government organization that has prevented you from losing ALL of your savings over the past year when dozens of banks failed.

1. Pro tip: "Government programs" aren't their issue. Pretending that they are just enables them.

2. Remember that they're also opposed to socialism
In clear conscience, I don't see how they can use the services of the police, the fire department, the library or public education.

It's every man for himself. Right?

3. They don't have any money.
They probably think the FDIC is the agency that inspects their cheap ass hamburger meat.

4. I'm opposed to the FDIC
it's part of the moral hazard that lets banks take risks, pocket profits privately, and push their losses off onto the government.

By the way, the FDIC is bankrupt right now, primarily because it hasn't been doing its job and putting banks out of business when they drop below required capital thresholds.
