Anyone else find it odd that Joe Wilson says he apologized to President Obama, when he didn't

Joe Wilson keeps saying that he already apologized to the president and that should be the end of it. Actually he apologized to Rahm Emanuel and Joe Biden. So why didn't Wilson go straight to the man he actually needed to apologize to. I mean if I insult you I don't go and apologize to your friend I apologize to you. It's just funny how Wilson could scream "You Lie" while pointing at the president, but couldn't make one phone call to the President himself. Very telling.

It says he called the white house and got Rahm Emanuel. I just find it odd that he didn't make an effort to set up an appointment with President Obama for a face to face apology, which he had every right to do as US congressman. The President would have been more than happy to accept. It seems he didn't really make much of an effort. Almost like "Well I called the white house told Rahm I was sorry, guess I'm off the hook." Seems he should have seek out the President if he was really sincerely sorry.

12. I actually heard Glenn Beck (I think) on the radio this morning

Going into great detail about how Joe Wilson called the President and apologized and he went so far as to say how he gave credit to the President for "picking up the phone" and accepting Wilson's heartfelt apology. I'm pretty sure it was Beck anyway. Whoever it was was certainly happy to be lying.
