Damnit!!!! I got called for a survey on Health Care just now |
|
but they already had 'too many people in your age demographic'
so I couldn't take the poll. and the young man who called said it was too bad as my opinion of being in favor of a public option or even a single payer was 'very unusual'
argh!!! :banghead:

1. If you're older, they're the easist ones to get on the phone. My firm used to ask for |
|
"the youngest person registered to vote."
Some firms ask for "the youngest male registered to vote" because young men are the most difficult to get on the phone. Older women the easiest.

2. That sounds a little odd. |
|
It seems if they were going for specific demographics, they would have asked your age before asking your opinion . . .

|
was covered.
he told me it was a "National Health Care" survey then asked the vetting questions
are you a registered voter? yes
did you vote in the 2008 elections? yes
do you plan to vote in the 2010 elections? yes
your age? 54
sorry, too bad

7. Sounds like a Republican Push Poll to me |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-16-09 09:04 PM by BeatleBoot
It's a fake poll. They are using dirty political tricks now.
No legitimate poll would tell you that.
These fucking pricks will stop at nothing.
Do not believe what they told you.

10. it was a 20 second exchange as we were hanging up |
|
he had already told me that he couldn't use my opinion then I said I liked the public option and he said I was unusual
maybe it was, since when I said "Those damned Republicans are lying their asses off" he hung up pretty fast LOL
and I know Steve Pearce is going to try to win back his seat in 2010 from our Democratic Teague.
hmmmmmm

14. Listen, I got onne of these the night the President addressed the Joint Session of Congress |
|
they were just trying to get me away from the TV set that night and I knew it immediately.
I hung up on them, but I have caller ID.
Do you have caller ID?
Just saying, if you do, wright down the number and give it to your local Dem HQ or Congressmen.
Believe me they'll want the info.
