I wonder how many pieces of silver Max got or is going to get |
|
I honestly wonder what made it worth it to Max to try to fuck the American people with this disaster of a bill. I wonder what he got to stab his President in the back. I wonder what he got to write a bill that takes a bad system and actually finding a way in making it worse.
I wonder how much money Aetna, Cigna, and the Blues have promised Max Baucus to federally mandate new customers at bad rates. I wonder what he got to try to kill the public option.
I wonder what is in Max Baucus's cold black greedy heart.

1. Yep, We know WHAT he is |
|
We're only trying to figure out how much he was paid.
May he go just broke enough to fall under his own "insurance" plan.

2. Found this out this morning. |
|
The former Vice President for Public Policy and External Affairs at WellPoint, Elizabeth Fowler, is currently the Senior Counsel to Max Baucus, the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee and leading opponent of the "public option" in healthcare reform.
WellPoint, Inc. is a large, U.S. based health insurance company and the largest member of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
(per Wikipedia)
(No surprise the public option never had a chance. )

4. Why do you assume that Baucus is getting paid for his health care bill? |
|
Why would the insurers have to do this, when he's obviously on their payroll already? Selling us out is his proud duty, and he asks for no special favors for doing it.

5. Because the $3m was just a retainer - it takes additional money to get him to step up |
|
They pay him year after year just to be standing by and ready. When its time for action, like the month of August, then they have to pay additional money for services actually rendered - like yesterday.
