Irony Alert -- Caption This -- Tea Party Protest D.C. Metro Service
This is a challenge for us all -- BEST Snarky answer:

Tea Party Protest D.C. Metro Service

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2009/09/16/tea-party-protesters-protest-dc-metro-service/tab/comments/

Here are some of the ones I pulled off the Wall Street Journal's Blog -- But I'm sure DU can do better!

“Really teabaggers? Now you’re complaining that there wasn’t adequate government spending on public transit when you needed it? Grow up. Government isn’t some toy that you get to play with whenever you want and refuse to share with all the other kids”.

mp wrote: "So now we have anti-government protesters complaining about the lack of government-run transit to go along with the absurdity of Republican (who have spent decades trying to kill Medicare) complaining that Obama’s “government takeover” of health care will kill Medicare. Anyone see even a hint of common sense (Glenn Beck’s favorite catchphrase) in these stories?"

Zerne wrote: "Shouldn’t the protesters have been happy to use the private option of the cabs over the public option?"

Brian MacDougll wrote: "Are these people irony-free, or just plain stupid?"

lmo in dc wrote: "soooo … the fed gov was supposed to subsidize their protest against, um, the fed gov? i suddenly have an image of a snake eating its own tail in my mind…"

George wrote: "You have got to be kidding…. OK so you REALLY want the government to spend even MORE money on socialized transportation. Old ladies taking cabs???? That’s called free market capitalism you commies….."

QuestionEvil wrote: "Damn you… Government funded taxpayer subsidized transportation system for not getting us to our protest against government funded taxpayer subsidized transportation systems…Apparently irony is one of those communist fascist socialist intellectual liberal things that is completely lost on “real” Americans."

1. Don't dare put your government into my public transporation
I guess it would be kinda telling (and embarrassing) if their handlers on right wing radio explained stuff like this to them on the public airwaves
