Shhhh!!! NEW Census Report - Real Median Household Income Declined Under Bush!
Edited on Thu Sep-17-09 10:51 PM by TomCADem
The media appears to be ignoring the latest report from the U.S. Census showing that real median household income DECLINED under the Bush years. It declined from $52,500 in Bill Clinton's last year to $50,303 in Bush's last year. Even though the Republicans are trying mighting hard to convince white Americans that they should be threatened by Hispanics, African Americans, other minorities and Democrats, the fact of the matter is that real median household income for whites declined from $57,042 in Bill Clinton's last year in 2000 to $55,530 in Bush's last year in 2008. Yet, the major media is generally ignoring this evidence that Republican rule harmed most middle class families in the U.S.

7. Not sure what industry you are in
but a lot of tech workers had the same experience then.

Nowadays its the mid- to upper mid-level finance pros taking the beating. My income is off by at least half this year, and from all appearances may be off 100% next year.

The freepers won't listen or care, and if they do, they'll just say these statistics were doctored up by Obama's evil socialist Census, or something or another.

15. Here Is The Ironic Fact: The Top 5% Saw Their Real Median Household Income Decrease...
From $183,492 in 1999 to 180,000 in 2008. Yet, they will insist that the Republicans are better for upper income Americans. The truth is that you need to be in top 1 percent or so to really benefit from Republican rule.
