Just face it ... unless Obama can get Dems in line |
|
(aka convince them to grow a pair) and, not just pander/serve their lobbyist/Corporate campaign OWNING Overlords -- WE THE REAL WORKING PEOPLE, will continue to serve the wealthy/Corporate interests while earning less and less and giving up more and more. We produce .. while they sit back on their lazy asses getting rich off our productivity.

1. He's gonna have to "grow a pair" of his own first.. |
|
his leadership on healthcare leaves a great deal to be desired - I'm tired of his ridiculous notion that he has to compromise and build consensus - HE WON DAMMIT! All he has done with all this kumbaya nonsense of trying to hold Republican hands and compromise is give away the farm - he hasn't gotten ONE SINGLE GOP VOTE IN EXCHANGE.

3. I was proud of him when he reminded them he won! Since then, not so much! |
|
We can really win this thing and i don't know why he insists on bipartisanship by whatever means necessary. We really CAN( "Yes we can!" ) do this without them and it may be our last best shot to get HCR that means something and isn't an insurance company payday! I just don't understand WHY some are willing to compromise everything away for the tired old mantra of VOTES that we don't need.
The GOP are not going to get on board with any meaningful reform so we may as well get the bill we want. It is now or never.

4. Agreed, but what can we do to get the Dems in line |
|
My point was, I don't se any way hardworking Americans will ever get a fair break. Lobbyists and corporate donors render us, normal, working Americans moot.

7. And let it drop in conversation that times are tight... |

and therefore, the DNC might not have enough to support every candidate who wants to run for re-election. But, of course, the DNC might be able to find enough change under the cushions to support strong primary challenges. Know what I'm sayin', Vern?

...said after the election, "I've got political capital. And I intend to spend it!"?
Where's that same kind of attitude on our side? We're fighting for "We The People" and they were fighting for war, murder, destroying democracy and furthering corporations.
Geez. If Bush could muster some attitude for those things, you would think that the Dems could muster some courage to fight for the rights of the people.

8. And the sad thing is... |
|
Bush never really had any political capital, let alone an actual win, but Obama won by a big landslide, if the "official" vote had matched the actual vote.
