Acorn is done. Reminds me of Walter Cronkite and Vietnam. President Johnson knew he lost the confidence of the public when he lost the confidence of Cronkite. Now that Leno and Jon Stewart are making light, Acorn is done.

but ACORN is teetering on the precipice. It's dependent on federal and state funds. And it's losing them fast.

2. ACORN Sure Isn't Vietnam

I firmly believe ACORN is being targeted by the wingnuts cause they register blacks and low income voters who will almost always vote Democratic. They've been gunning for them for months and looks like these videos have done the trick. While I have serious questions and doubts about the tactics of the scam pulled on them, it's the perception that matters. But ACORN is not Vietnam...people haven't been killed due to the lies of anyone involved in that organization. ACORN losing confidence? They never really had it from the corporate media...and sadly they all were ready for a major screw-up that some ACORN folks gladly provided.

My hopes are the netroots come to ACORN's defense...at least in a financial fashion. There's a lot of good this organization does in registering voters and to watch them get destroyed would be giving the rushpublican party a big gift...disenfranchising voters.
