Michelle Obama calls US health care 'unacceptable,' urges women to get involved in debate

WASHINGTON - First lady Michelle Obama says the current state of health care in the U.S. is unacceptable and women have an important role to play in changing that.

The first lady and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius spoke to a group of women at the White House Friday. Mrs. Obama says women are uniquely qualified to change the debate on health care overhaul because they are often the ones "making critical health care decisions" for their families.

Mrs. Obama says her husband's plan will allow women to obtain better, more affordable health coverage.

4. She spoke so emotionally and from the heart and had me in tears.
She ought to get her own National Address.. She'd win over the people of this country.. however, most people who should hear the debate from someone who thinks about the human impact of healthcare of lack or it, would not have been able to see her speak during the middle of the day.
