My Wife and I think it's time for us to march on Washington and support GOOD public health care. I think it's also important not to show the hate manifested in the 9/12 freeper march. Why anyone thinks health insurance companies , in their present form., is a good idea is beyond me. They are an UNPRODUCTIVE middleman between you and your doctor. In 2007 the top 10 publicly held health insurance companies PROFITS, not gross, was 12.9 billion dollars! The CEO's executive compensation was 118.6 million dollars. That is for ten people. I have great employer insurance, could use the VA (service connected disabilities), and a family trust that will pick up the uncovered part . I am blessed in that but so many people need help and the U.S.A. is so rich. My country can do better. I marched in 1971 , Out Now and I believe it could help again. P.S. I have a weeks vacation my Glenn Beck loving boss will have to cover. I can use it for the country.

7. There would be no M$M coverage. We wouldn't exist, no matter how many showed up.

A better tactic would be to displace all the lobbyist's line holders at the Congressional office buildings on a rotating basis by getting there earlier in the morning. Instead of a hundred thousand protesters, two hundred citizen lobbyists each day preventing (or at least curtailing) access to Congress by the corporate lobbyists. 100,000/200 = 500 (working) days the corporations would have no access to OUR Congresscritters.

I believe you have to register to lobby Congress, even as a citizen, and they probably make appointments with "the regulars" to bypass such disruptions (but not all of them, or the placeholders wouldn't be there every morning).
