Cracker Barrel was sole distributor of Kenny Rogers album
http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2008/08/26/kenny-rogers-adds-new-cd-to-cracker-barrels-menu/

Paul McCartney had Starbucks, the Eagles and AC/DC have Wal-Mart and now country (and chicken) icon Kenny Rogers has linked up with the Cracker Barrel. Starting today, if you’re fortunate enough to reside near one of those Old Country Stores, you can pick up a copy of Rogers’ 50 Years along with their restaurant’s famed “homemade chicken n’ dumplins.” The twelve-song set includes three brand new songs as well as nine of the Gambler’s greatest hits. “I want to go on record saying that I think that what Cracker Barrel is doing with its exclusive music program is a great opportunity for me and for other artists.” said Rogers. “I’m thrilled that they gave me the opportunity to create this album exclusively for their guests. In this business, where the Internet has become so important, to reach individual people shopping at Cracker Barrel is such a great gift.” Cracker Barrel isn’t new to the exclusive release arena, having already sold albums by Alison Krauss, Amy Grant and Charlie Daniels.

3. Hey!
There's no reason to diss either Kenny Rogers or Cracker Barrel. If a racist attacked a reservist in a farmer's market, would you avoid them?

5. I avoided Cracker Barrel long before the attack.
Just like I avoided Kenny Rogers after his chicken places were shut down.

7. Both were OK restaurants, for chains
But I have to admit, since I moved to NY over two years ago, I generally avoid chains.

11. Is this one of those threads...
...where you put up a picture of a bad guy along side a picture of someone else who never met the bad guy and we're supposed to assume that Kenny Rogers was holding the Stormfront guy's whiskey bottle while he attacked the reservist?

12. I don't like Cracker Barrel.
I never did understand what was so wonderful about them. And don't get any ham because you will need a lake of water to wash away the salt.

13. Cracker Barrel banned that racist
woman-beater from every one of its restaurants for life, so I'm not getting the gripe with CB? Did I miss a memo?

Did yall see the racist's cousin on CNN today? Said the woman deserved what she got, because "she put herself in a man's shoes." Believe it or not, there are many men who are serial abusers of women because of "women who try to take a man's role. If they wanna be men, then they should expect to be treated like a man." I counseled a shit-load of women who were abused because they "didn't stay in a woman's place." Blech, spit, vomit.

Anyway what's the hate on CB?

No joke. I drove by just as a firetruck was starting to hose it down.

20. Alison Krauss? NOOOOOOO!!!!!
Cracker Barrel isn’t new to the exclusive release arena, having already sold albums by Alison Krauss, Amy Grant and Charlie Daniels.

Grant and, alas, Daniels are known RW fundie pigs. No surprise that they'd deal with a chain with such a long history of bigotry, not only racist but homophobic. But Alison Krauss? :(
