Any thoughts on what the best HC bill we could get would contain? |
|
The public option was easy to understand but with that likely going down it's hard for me to get a grasp on what positive and meaningful changes if any, we could end up with?
Also, what are we likely to end up with?

1. The public option is in every bill except one |
|
If we would stop being led around by the damn media and start getting our asses out in the streets - the public option would be alive and well.

3. Since you've already unilaterally decided that a public option is doomed, it's unlikely... |
|
that you would believe much of anything good being in the final signed bill, and are just using your OP as a cover for complaining.

and an honest assessment of what to expect. The reason I came to the conclusion that the PO was just about dead came from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqvWJnH97JY&feature=player_embedded#t=18 Cenk put it that way. For some reason he can say it and no one freaks all over his case.

5. The best? Realistically or theoretically? |
|
Realistically, the best we can hope for is no bill at all.
Theoretically, one that guarantees a basic level of service to all and disassociates health care from employment.
