Mr. Roy Blunt 2229 Rayburn HOB Washington, DC 20515
RE: As a Documented Racist Bigot, You’re an Embarrassment to Missouri
Roy –
Your recent attempt at humor by telling your “monkey joke” is an embarrassment to all fellow Missourians. You should be ashamed – and as my Grandpa would say, you should be taken to the woodshed and horse-whipped but good for your ugly hate-mongering!
Sadly it has come to pass that the radical racist right you represent now wholeheartedly embraces the mantra that if it takes more than just a bit of hate-mongering hysterics by the likes of you to foil all efforts in addressing our nation’s dire needs … well, “desperate times demand desperate measures.”
The airwaves from cable and radio programming have become littered with agents provocateurs whose careers are built solely on daily delivering such demagoguery while spewing fear-mongering incendiary racial hatred. Yet they never pay any heed to the truth or to facts, because they are not held accountable for their prevaricating punditry.
And the endless regurgitation of their mendacious, vile bile in an effort to portray our first black president as an imposter, a foreigner, a socialist, a fascist, a Marxist, a racist, a Commie, a Nazi … why, he’s someone the right-wing has the audacious chutzpah to falsely proclaim wants to “Kill your grandma” and “Brainwash our kids” – have become the quotidian fodder fostered by the foaming-at-the mouth demagogues of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly and Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity and Michael Savage and …
When your hate-filled mantra morphs into mockery, and mockery morphs into savagery, soon it morphs in to all savagery, all the time – and then any possibility to advance a discussion is extinguished.
Addressing our nation’s needs deserves more than your playground-bully punditry.
You could have joined another Show-Me state responsible Representative from your own party – Rep. Jo Ann Emerson – and voted to provide a leavening hand of civility and common decency by holding Joe Wilson accountable for his racist rabble-rousing, and demand that he apologize for his brazenly churlish behavior. Although most assuredly common decency dictates it was not too much to expect – and it is what the decorum in the well of the House of Representatives demanded – you chose to embrace and support his vile bigoted hatred.
You, sir, are an ass – wholly and totally.
And that, Mr. Blunt, most assuredly is No Lie!
With All Due Respect You Deserve (Which Is a Pittance),
