Glenn Beck coming to Seattle. |
|
However he does not seem to be creating much of a buzz. http://soundpolitics.com/archives/013291.html

...because the only reason Beck would chose a progressive city like Seattle--is to draw demonstrators.
He's being heavily marketed as the right-wing's hero--and demonstrations by liberals only feed into that fire. Beck would love nothing more than all of the attention.
Best thing to do is put him on IGNORE!

I would advise "No Contact", which people who are ending relationships are also recommended to do.

9. you really think that's the way to go? |

I live in CT and just found out that Beck will be signing books right down the street at a gun store! I don't think I can just sit hear while that happens. I know he would love for me to show up, but I wouldn't be there for him. It would be an act of solidarity among me and other liberals in the community. We can't be complacent while this idiot rallies his zombie troops.

3. You know, Beck could come back here to SE PA. |
|
You know, even if he never really understood this market, he was right here when he "took off". And many of us here would like to have him back. For a variety of reasons.
Maybe he could do a comedy show on Broad Street. Maybe he could visit Independence Hall, or the Liberty Bell. Maybe he could confront some of the many, many locals who are Democrats and hate his Repuke bullshit race-baiting nonsensical peckerwood playtime unreal show. We would give him about the buzz he deserves--I'd suppose. Meaning--little. And a few introductions to what is colloquially referred to as a "hard way to go."

6. I hope he avails himself of Seattle's excellent accomodations. |

The ward in Harborview is said to be especially nice.

I can think of things I'd rather be doing. Like cleaning my toenails.
