Boehner Backed into a Corner

After months of calling President Obama's policies socialist, House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) ultimately backed off when questioned by David Gregory on Meet the Press yesterday.

GREGORY: Do you really think the President is a socialist?

BOEHNER: Listen, when you begin to look at how much they want to grow government, you can call it whatever you want, but the fact is --

GREGORY: What do you call it though?

BOEHNER: This is unsustainable. We're broke.

GREGORY: That's fine. Do you think the President is a socialist?

BOEHNER: No!

GREGORY: Okay. Because the head of the Republican Party is calling him that.

BOEHNER: Listen, I didn't call him that, and I'm not going to call him that.

1. Was Gregory talking about Limbaugh when he mentioned
the head of the Republican party? I didn't watch. Who was he referring to?

11. While it is true we owed a huge National Debt when Bush* came to Power
It is also true that the Debt was being paid down and in fact the Huge National Debt Clock in New York city was turned off for the first time since Reagan was in Office. Now it is such a blur it can not even be read. The Deficit was not during the last two years of Clinton. Our Operating Budget was in surplus and it was projected to be in surplus for the next ten years until Bush* with his "It's the people's money" so we should return it...

5. Gregory did a good job of calling him out on that but...
When will some talk show host ask these republican obstructionist where in the fuck they were during the bu$h regimes spending spree?

That is the ultimate shut the fuck up response needed in todays media. It will never happen but it is what is needed.

12. Where was "Mr. Tan 'N Tears" when Bush was "breaking" it?

"BOEHNER: This is unsustainable. We're broke."

Says it like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Neglects to mention 8 years of "loyal Bushies" got us here.
