I stopped listening to Randi Rhodes a while back because she has too much WRONG info. |
|
Historically, she doesn't do her homework before opening her mouth. So today Ed Shultz has a replacement and I tune in to Randi to give her another chance at entertaining/enlightening me.
Right off the bat she's running down 30 Rock and talking about how nobody watches the show. (I do.) Then she's off on how good looking Rob Lowe is, and asks why he isn't he on TV anymore. She repeated at least three times that Rob Lowe should be on TV if Alec Baldwin has a show.
Rob Lowe ... I've watched him the last two seasons on Brothers and Sisters. I assume he's still with the show. I also love Alec Baldwin. Randi doesn't like him so much now because he's gotten fat? Give me a break. And she apparently doesn't like Mad Men either, but loves Dexter. I enjoy them both -- why denigrate Mad Men?
Then she went back to asking why Rob Lowe isn't on TV anymore.
Sheesh, I'm going back to the Ed replacement.

2. Randi's Achilles heel is that she sometimes develops a grudge against someone. |

For example John Kerry.
Or apparently someone from 30 Rock. Does she have a thing against Alec Baldwin?
Tired of his Schewtty Balls?
In any case, Randi is still better than Lionel (douchebag) or Montel (well-intentioned idiot).
But we all know- even her fans- that eventually Randi will self-destruct somehow.
I just hope that she survives it, and comes back to create a new show, minus whatever inner demons are tormenting her.

3. Ed's replacement is great - Norman Goldman - he has his own show now, too. |

Another great voice on the left. And Randi's routine grew old with me a long time ago. Tough is OK, but just loud and obnoxious is not my thing.

7. I guess she didn't check with YOU before her show to see if you were watching |
|
30 Rock to make sure somebody was watching it.
And anyway, this is all just opinion about popular entertainment. Get back to us when you have some criticism about what she has to say about ACORN or health care reform.
