I saw the most bizarre PSA ever last week on the local Cable Access channel

How to wrap up your dead and store them in the basement in case of a Pandemic. Shower curtains and duct tape were recommended. But any vinyl sheeting and plastic tape would do. Good to know... :sarcasm:

It looked several years old. And, no, it was not a parody....

I tried unsuccessfully to find it online. Anyone else see this thing?

because it's a really, really, really bad idea.

Some people live with their dead, but they're in cold and arid climates.

Those of us who live in temperate and humid climates need to dump the stiff in a Glad Bag at the curb if things get that bad--or plant it next to the shrubbery in the back yard. Sharing any enclosed space with it post mortem is a dumb idea.

That was the last major pandemic threat I remember.

If this really has a 3% mortality rate like is being anticipated and 50% of my area gets infected
you are looking at 15,000 dead in the Lehigh Valley.
