Historic Flooding in the Atlanta area...
some locations over 15"+ in the last 24 hours. Lake Lanier (primary northern reservoir) has gained nearly two FEET in the last 48 hours... geez... maybe this will help with the water wars...

5. That is what I told my mom. Beginning of the end of days. I've signed up with
Earthbound pets...I'm gonna stay back and care for the precious pets left behind.

I can't wait.

25. Mine are surely better than most people. The rapture is bullshit though.
So when their parents vanish...

I'll kiss and love on their dogs while they are gone.

10. I'd love to do that... cats and dogs just LOVE me
even ones that friends own who say "he doesn't like any strangers".

I understand that there are some people that are making a business on this concept.

I would join them, but I think taking advantage of the weak minded is morally wrong.

I usually agree, but it gives them comfort to know that their pets will be rescued should the rapture happen.

I know that my mom worries about her pets after the rapture. Bless her heart.

I guess she thinks I'm still saved since I went through all the baptism stuff when I was 12 (and although she knows I'm gay, I haven't bothered telling her I'm agnostic/atheist).

12. Remember when Sonny Perdue (R-Obviously) was praying for rain?
It never fails. Amateurs like that pray for rain, they get flooding. :eyes:

My favorite Atlantan (even ahead of xultar!) is a wheelchair user. Wonder how she's faring...

18. Some people left their little dog in the basement and woke up to find it drowned.
It was one of those fu-fu dogs. I thought that was so sad.

19. Well this reminds me of Mexico City
which is also in the midst of a historic drought.

Weather more unpredictable... that is global weather change

Stay safe folks and the PSA goes without saying, do not try to drive through flooded streets. It is not fun and you can get killed doing that.

20. I live in the basement. Water is starting to come into my bathroom and back
door areas. My rugs are all soaked. Had to drive home a different way due to low lying flooding over the road near my house.

I think God must've been out. He came home to a bunch of voice mails from GA wanting rain. We got it. Damn.

:(
